The vision of chef Guy Fieri came to life in Pigeon Forge, TN with the opening of his new restaurant, Downtown Flavortown. The restaurant serves up Fieri’s award-winning dishes with attractions for all ages including a bowling alley, arcade, and tiki bar for before or after dinner entertainment.
The interior design is loud and fun, matching Fieri’s larger than life personality. For the exterior, the design team chose a combination of materials, including thin brick, manufactured stone, EIFS and of course, a mural of Fieri.
To accommodate the use of multiple cladding materials, Senergy’s Insulated Masonry Veneer System was chosen. The system seamlessly incorporates multiple claddings over a continuous layer of insulation, air / water-resistive barrier and drainage. The system checks all the requirements, design flexibility, optimum energy efficiency, reduces complex transitions between materials, and eliminates thermal bridging that can happen with traditional mechanically installed brick.
