Designed as a prominent landmark and a welcoming place of worship, Guardian Angel Parish follows the traditional Basilica layout, modernized to take advantage of open space and natural light. The Senerflex GDC Design System wraps the exterior in a fluid-applied air and water-resistive barrier, and 6" of continuous insulation with a Geometrically Defined Drainage Cavity.  The Sahara Finish is a 100% acrylic, low-maintenance finish that delivers long-term durability and weather-resistance. ​

The project was recognized with an Honorable Mention in the category of Institutional by EIFS Council of Canada during the 2020 ECC Architectural Design Awards.
