Penn State Health Children’s Lancaster Pediatric Center
Project Summary
Penn State Health is a multi-hospital health system serving patients and communities across 29 counties of Pennsylvania. The health system is focused on improving patient care, research, education and community outreach. The recently completed Penn State Health Children’s Lancaster Pediatric Center uses Senergy's Insulated Masonry Veneer System to achieve a multi-cladding aesthetic, while reducing construction complexity and costs.
The system’s built in heat, air and moisture control layers, including continuous insulation, air / water-resistive barriers and drainage are seamlessly designed to work together. The system features MaxGrip Veneer Mortar, the only setting bed mortar strong enough to adhere thin brick and stone veneer without mechanical fasteners, reducing the risk of masonry pop off and moisture intrusion.
